Our Services

Frequently asked questions?

Here's some common questions we get asked, have any others? Give us a call today...

Do I need planning permission for my Log Cabin?

Usually, no, if your cabin is within common size and height limits (e.g., typically 2.5m tall near boundaries) and isn't used as a separate home. However, rules change for listed buildings or in special areas like Conservation Areas. If you're unsure please feel free to give us a call today.

Do you remove any waste materials after the installation?

Our service includes the assembly of your cabin. While we ensure our work area is tidy and will bag up any small offcuts or packaging that came with the cabin kit, we do not typically include the removal of large waste materials or excess packaging from the site. This will need to be arranged by the customer.

Do you assemble the entire cabin kit, including windows and roofing?

Yes, our service includes the full assembly of your cabin kit, which typically involves erecting the walls, fitting the roof structure, installing windows and doors, and laying the felt or shingles if they are part of the kit. We aim to leave you with a fully enclosed and structurally complete cabin.

Do you remove any waste materials after the installation?

While our installations require a level and stable base, we understand that not all gardens are perfectly flat. If your ground has a slight slope, a suitable base can often compensate. For significant slopes, specialist groundwork may be required before we can begin. Please discuss any challenges with your site when requesting a quote.
